In psychology, making clients feel comfortable is crucial for building trust and openness. I had the privilege of working with Caty, a passionate psychologist, and her dedicated team at her clinic, Perennial Psychology, in Footscray. The brief was to capture the heart of their practice through branding photography that reflects the inviting atmosphere and natural warm colours of the space.
A Welcoming Environment
In mental health care, the environment significantly impacts how clients feel. Caty has created such a warm and inviting space. We really wanted to bring that alive in the images. The clinic is honestly a dream — warm, welcoming, and styled to perfection (Caty’s nailed it!).
Interactive and Engaging Photos
Capturing genuine interactions between Caty and her staff was essential. These candid moments show the warmth and genuine connections they share, helping to make the practice relatable. I snapped images of team members laughing, discussing, and supporting one another. Moments like these show the clinic's supportive culture.
Headshots
We wanted to capture a mix of calm and connection with a few polished headshots and some natural candid moments.
Creating a Lasting Impression
For Caty and her team, these professional images feature on the website and marketing materials. They help communicate their values and mission clearly, allowing potential clients to feel a connection even before they enter the clinic.
If you want to capture the essence of your practice or business get in touch to discuss your business branding photography session. It’s not only about taking pictures; it’s about crafting a visual narrative that deeply connects with your audience and leaves a lasting impression.
Kind words from Caty about the shoot . . .
“We worked with Wendy recently for a business branding shoot, and she was positively excellent. From the inception she nailed the brief, captured the essence of our clinic and our team, and her values-based approach and creative eye was marvellous. I would highly recommend Wendy for your business visual branding - we will be returning customers.”
